Jaden’s Birthday….the Birthday Month.
Last Saturday was Jaden’s second birthday, and it is a family tradition to have cake. I’m no cake boss, but I do have a fetish for decorating cakes, so as you can imagine Jaden’s birthday cake was not going to be two cakes slapped together with cream and jam – or sprinkled with icing sugar. The week that came and went….
Well this week has been a great week, and a very busy week. The week started with birthdays,Wet’n Wild, a student free day, the normal school week, organising a family barbeque for tomorrow for 15 people, and secretly interviewing child care centres. Jaden needs some structure and playtime with other little boys, and I need a little space, and the ability to do a grocery shop without Jaden throwing items out of the trolley. Birthday Month = Fun Fun Fun
Since I have posted last, life has been incredibly busy. As I write this I am asking myself when life isn’t busy? Life is always busy! My life is always busy! Life just keeps rolling by – whats that saying ‘life happens while your making plans’. I sometimes feel that we should have all been issued with a pause button, just so that we can rest or catch up on what we need to get done before a scheduled event.
