Gold Coast Holiday 2016 – The Q1
Since we last spoke, life got a little busy with end of year school related busyness and then we headed off to the Gold Coast for our family holiday. We had ten glorious days on the Gold Coast. I got a brilliant deal at the Q1 via an eBay deal. I know what your thinking, “You got a great holiday deal on eBay? That sound crazy!” Well yes it was crazy – but it was pretty awesome. I don’t like to brag but when it comes to getting brilliant deals, I must say that I have some amazing skills. Our 2 bedroom apartment was on the 32nd floor and we had amazing…

School holidays, reflecting on the past and looking to the future!
The Summer school holidays started with a bang! The count down to Christmas is on, and the excitement is starting to build. In some ways it feels a little surreal – I know the holidays have started – but at the same time I feel that I have to pinch myself to believe that the holidays have actually arrived. The end of year excitement is in the air and I love it. Its my favourite time of the year. Christmas is everywhere, the days are longer, the nights are lovely. It just a wonderful time of year. This time of year brings a lot of love to the…

Did you miss me…!
I bet your thinking that Mischievious Mum (me) went M.I.A? Well I am back. I have to admit that I did have a mini holiday and I found myself thinking about my blog and what I wanted to do with it! We love the Tech Ed conference as we…

Dion was off with the boys – guys from work to attend the annual Blackboard conference on the Gold Coast and he was leaving 3pm. This year it is being held at the Bond University – Monday through to Wednesday of ‘Geek Speak’! So to help Dion pack – I ironed shirts and while I was there I ironed a few more so that I…

Putting a price on Fun!
A couple of weeks ago to buy the Myfun – Seaworld, Movieworld and Wet’n Wild tickets for the family. We haven’t done anything like that before, but we discovered yesterday that if you want to buy tickets at the gate (Movie World), you will be paying the hefty price of $79.95 for an adult for one day at the theme park, and $49.95 for children and concession tickets. Because of the cost involved for a large-ish family it made sense for us to buy the VIP MyFun Tickets – Myfun.com.au. We went to Movie world today and I learned a couple of things. I learned that Amy is…
