Well, term one of 2022 was much bigger than I anticipated it to be. I very naively went into the first term of the school year expecting to have a lot more time in my day to work through my very long To-do list. Happy Mother’s Day
Its Mother’s Day on Sunday! Many mums look at their lives and analyse how they’re doing in their role as a mother. Some days I feel great about motherhood. Other days I thank God we all survived the day! Most days I move through the day feeling cool and calm like ‘Mary Poppins’, other days when I feel overwhelmed and out of sorts I feel a little like ‘Bruce Banner’ on a stressful day. Recently, I listened to one of my many favourite podcasts ‘Straight and Curly’ with kelly Exeter and Carly Jacobs, who were talking about how important it is to have hobbies. At the time I was quick to react with some quick ‘I don’t have time for any hobbies!’ type of remark.
